Of all the crazy things I could do, I launched a new career at the age of 40 in a city that I only knew a handful of people. What was I thinking?
Reminiscing of the day I joined real estate in July 2010, I knew this was going to be the career for me. Work hard. Hustle. Grind. Verbs and Adjectives, that were very familiar to me over the years in anything I set out to do. Real Estate was going to be no different.
Over the span of my career, I was able to set and meet several milestones that would place me apart from most agents.
2012 was the launching of Facebook Business. By continuous blogging and growth of sphere I quickly shot up the ranks within the agents of Halifax.
In 2014, not only did The Pike Group evolve, we were the first agents to change the course of marketing for Halifax. We began the introduction of walk thru videos for our sellers. Which as you can attest, is the norm for most agents here in the city.
Fast forward to 2017 while speaking internationally to 6000 agents the merits of social media advertising, I found myself being introduced to the head of Facebook Messenger in California who granted us the use of Messenger on our website. We were the first agents EVER in the world to have this application. It truly was an honor.
2018 through to 2019 allowed us the opportunity to engage with Artificial Intelligence not only for branding purposes but to get maximum social exposure for our seller’s listings.
We have won several accolades over the years, from Atlantic Canada’s Top Team to Nationally ranking at 1% within Royal LePage Canada. Since 2014 I have been one of Metro’s TOP 3 ranking agents.
